The Art of Presence: A Self-Care Challenge
Hi again! Happy March! ✨🌈
In a world that constantly demands our attention, it’s easy to move through life on autopilot—eating, listening, feeling—without truly experiencing. But what if self-care wasn’t just about what we do, but how we experience it?
Recently, I attended the Self-Love Class at Le Sol House, where we explored all of our senses—not just as passing sensations, but as gateways to deeper presence. It was a reminder that self-care isn’t just about slowing down, it’s about fully immersing ourselves in the moment! :)
When was the last time you truly paid attention to how something tastes, how a song makes you feel, or how a scent shifts your mood?
Your Self-Care Challenge:
This month, I challenge you to bring more presence into your daily experiences. Try one (or all!) of these simple practices:
- Taste with intention – The next time you eat or drink, slow down. Notice the flavors, textures, and how they make you feel.
- Listen deeply – Play a song and close your eyes. What emotions or memories does it bring up? I love to dance and it always brings so much joy!
- Feel fully – Whether it’s the warmth of the sun, the softness of fabric, or the sensation of water on your skin—take a moment to really feel it.
If you’re looking for an immersive experience, Le Sol House offers beautiful classes for both members and non-members that encourage presence, reflection, and self-love. I’ll also be attending their Spring Equinox event this week, and I can’t wait to share more about it!
Take this as a sign to give back to yourself in the simplest yet most powerful way—by being fully present in your experiences and most importantly loving yourself! I love you! 🫶🏼
