How I Infuse Reiki Energy Into Our Crystals and What That Means for You - my first love letter 🫸🌀🫷

A New Chapter in Energy Healing for Luna Metaphysical ✨

After the Full Moon in Aries on October 6th something inside me was ignited. I kept hearing the word *Reiki* whispered in the back of my mind. Reiki had always been something I was curious about but I’d never taken the time to truly learn or experience it. In the past we'd held a few soundbath meditations at the shop where our friends went around and did a short reiki session on the the guests as we meditated to the sounds of the crystal bowls being played. But my understanding of it was still basic af, until recently. and to be completely honest I'd heard of so many people getting their reiki certification that I became a little skeptical BUT GIRLL was I about to be taken on a wild mystical RIDE! A few days before a two day Reiki workshop began, I decided to take a leap of faith and signed up for the Reiki Level 1 Certification class at Breathe Meditation and Wellness (the folks there are amazing, and I met such a wonderful group of people during the class!)

The attunement was one of the most mystical experiences I've ever had. I'll save that story for another post or IG reel. Or you could ask me about it the next time you're at the shop. That decision marked the beginning of a new chapter not only in my personal journey, but in the evolution of energy healing here at Luna Metaphysical.

 GIRL! What Even Is Reiki?

Reiki translates to universal life force energy, which flows through all living things. The system of Reiki healing was developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the 1920s and has since spread across the world as a gentle yet powerful healing modality. While anyone can work with life force energy to promote healing, to formally practice and call it Reiki a person must go through a process called an attunement, which is facilitated by a Reiki Master. An attunement helps open and align the body’s energy channels, allowing the practitioner to become a clearer vessel for this healing energy to flow through.

Reiki Level 1 focuses on selfhealing and healing others through touch.

Reiki Level 2 introduces distance healing and the ability to send Reiki across space and time.

Reiki Level 3, or the Master Level, gives a practitioner the ability to attune others to Reiki energy

Soooo Why Infuse Crystals with Reiki?

When I signed up for my Reiki 1 class, I didn’t plan to see clients my goal was simply to bring balance back into my own body. But during the workshop, our Reiki Master, Leah, mentioned that you can Reiki charge your water and that sparked an idea: yoooo what if I infused the crystals at Luna with Reiki energy too????

Powering up crystals with Reiki is a beautiful way to amplify their natural energetic field and align them with the frequencies of love, harmony, and healing. It’s like your crystals just took a shot of espresso... energetically speaking ;)

By infusing our crystals (and even other products we carry) with Reiki, I believe it really strengthens their ability to support your body’s own natural healing processes and helps restore energetic balance within your space. My Process of Charging Crystals Every morning, or sometimes at the end of the day I take time to be alone in the shop. I center myself, connect with the Reiki energy, and allow it to flow through me. Then, I walk through the store, hovering my hands over the crystals, letting that radiant, healing energy move through me and into each stone. When I feel guided to, I’ll visualize Reiki symbols over specific pieces or areas that feel like they need extra alignment or boost. It’s a sacred, peaceful ritual and one of my favorite moments of the day. I’d love for you to notice if you can feel the shift in energy the next time you step into Luna.

I still cant get over how cool the sensations in my palms feel as I channel the energy out to the crystals. IKKKK it sounds crazy. 🤪

What It Means for You

Now that I’m Reiki certified every crystal at Luna Metaphysical carries an added layer of intentional energy. This process isn’t about mysticism it’s about coherence and frequency. Reiki helps bring each crystal’s energetic field into perfect harmony, allowing it to resonate more clearly with you and your intentions. When you hold one of our crystals, you’re connecting with something that’s been consciously tuned to peace, clarity, and pure, supportive energy that is designed to meet you where you are and gently raise your vibration.
